An alternative for wood shake roofs

Though wood shake roofs aren't one of the more popular roofing materials, they are much more commonplace in mountainous regions. That's because wood shake roofs give homes a very certain look. Taylor and Harrison win MCC Grenada Tournament

Brad Taylor and John Harrison won the Magnolia Crappie Club Grenada Lake tournament this past weekend beating out 42 other teams with 7 fish weighing 18.05#s. They also won Big Fish with 2.95#. Belive it or not but it took over 15#s to get in the Top15.

Magnolia Crappie Club Big Momma Results

Dave (AKA Gator) and Darlene Roach of Hernando won the Big Momma Tournament at Grenada on September 17, 2010 with a monster slab weighing 2.41#s. Dave said the day started out with trouble, first the trailer came loose from their truck before they left their yard, then about 20 miles south of Hernando a trailer tire blew out destroying the rim and barely saving the bearings. This delayed them approximately 1 hour.Read more

Harrison & Driscoll win the 2011 Magnolia Crappie Club State Championship

John and Kent came from 16th place on day one to win the championship on day-two with 23.68#s. These guys fished on the northeast side of Grenada Lake above Young’s Landing in 16’ of water, fishing 11’ deep with extra-large minnows to catch a total of 14.12#s on day-two. They also finished 2nd in the Big Momma Open Tournament with a 2.31# slab.

They had 4 fish that measured over 17” long. John was very disappointed on day-one with around 9.50#. He stated that tomorrow “I’ll be a Zero or a Hero, I’m going for Broke” and that they did.Read more
